Eliza Adam is a Magandjin (Brisbane) based multidisciplinary artist, working in painting, sculpture and textile-based processes. Her practice investigates themes of universal inter-connectivity, through explorations of place and time.

Responding directly to her surroundings, Adam explores recent and distant histories of place. Through built layers and simple notations, Adam’s work presents landscape as an informal archive.

Adam has lived and worked in various locations across Australia, from the coast of South East Queensland to the desert of remote Western Australia, each of these environments have informed her practice
